Gateway to the Spirit, by Robert Maryboy of Bluff, Utah
Gateway to the Spirit
When Robert Maryboy was a child his grandfather, Hastiin Maryboy, told him Navajo stories of creation and of the Great Spirit that lives above us all. From these ethereal memories, Robert Maryboy creates spiritually uplifting paintings of his beloved Navajo land.Maryboy uses brush and palette to portray his unified faith in Christianity, his nation and his land.
In this picture the eagle represent the Great Spirit of God.The mountain is El Capitan, located south of the entrance to Monument Valley, Utah. This is a famous part of the red desert of the American Southwest, a location used for cowboy movies such as The Searchers, Stagecoach and Fort Apache – all directed by John Ford and starring John Wayne. It is also a land famous for its ethereal spirituality, with stark and massive monuments rising out of the desert appearing as a surreal landscape of mind, character and eternal truths. Thus this picture features an eagle flying above a landmark ethereal gateway to higher knowledge of God’s spirit and truth .
Dinch people maintain the spiritual qualities that they find in all creation. They believe every mountain, stream, river, desert and animal is encompassed by the Great Spirit.
One Strength:The Dineh belive that balance underlies the spiritual and physical entities of our mother earth. The Navajo people strive for Hozhoogo, a term that has no English equivalent, but its meaning includes beauty, balance and harmony.

Mother Earth provides the gift of life.It provides wild game such as elk, deer, fish and rabbit. Before hunting season, the Dinch hunters perform ritual ceremonies.First they collect various herbs and prepare a sweat lodge. Then for four days a ceremonies are held inside the sweat lodge. Thus prepared, the hunters seek wild game from Mother Earth’s bounty. Then after hunting, the skins are tanned and the meats are split from the bone and dried. The antlers and bones are placed back in the mountain where the spirit of the wildlife roams. The bounty is packed on horseback and the warriors head for home.By honoring the goodness of nature through these traditions, the Dinch people believe Mother Earth will continue to provide.
Be thankful for the gift of Mother Earth and live long.Dinch people honor the spiritual qualities that they find in nature. Each mountain, desert land, river, stream and animal is encompassed by the Great Spirit. Mother Earth provides the gift of the land. With honor come blessings.

RE:HOW CAN WE PROSPER?
RE:The culture of lawlessness in Africa and a recent incident in which 120 poor Kenyans who stole gasoline from an overturned truck tanker died after it exploded.Another 120 were terribly maimed by the hellish flames.Police failed to stop the crowd.
A THIRD message to the church in Bungoma, Kenya.
Children of Bungoma, You ask, how can we prosper? How can we prosper when we are so poor? Prosper in Me, in My law, in My love. Who am I?I am Jesus Christ of Nazareth. What is My law?Love God and man. What is My love?My love is for the great and deep laws of My Father. These are mysteries to mankind. These are hidden to all but the most seeing eyes. They are the laws, precepts, judgments, commandments, ways and lines that David sang about in his Psalms. They are the key to understanding the universe, creation, God and man. They give great peace and understanding. They are your safety. They always work and never fail. They are powerful, universal but invisible forces of good. I do not ask you to memorize them, for they are too many to memorize.I do not ask you to know them all, for they are too many to know. I simply ask you to love the laws you know of My Father. That is sufficient for the task. If you love the laws and ways of My Father, a great process of good will begin in you.You will see more of My Father’s ways. You will love those new precepts, and keep them.As you press on, you will behold with spiritual eyes more lines, doctrines and ways of My Father’s establishments. And you will love and keep these new things. All of this will make you more pure, more close to My Father.Your home of spirits, or spiritual abode, will become more lovely to inhabit by Myself, the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth. I can then guide you away from trouble that would cause you to break a spiritual law, precept, doctrine or establishment. Many of you transgress these things regularly without knowledge. And you have been paying a price for breaking these ways even if you know nothing about them. Keep you accounts short.Do not steal.Neither transfer transgressions through accounts of pandering, deceptions or discounting the various sizes and shapes of sin. Fear God.Fear God who is a judge.Fear God who is a judge who can penetrate any smoke, any mirrors or any crossover accounting deceptions. Ask yourselves always this question:Am I doing the right thing? If a gasoline tank truck tips over, should I take the fuel?Because I am poor, should I take the fuel?If a store is burning should I loot the store?Because I am poor, should I loot the store? If a railroad tank car derails, should I steal the oil?Because I am poor, should I steal the oil? Or, will a thief be burned, even if he is a poor thief? If My people would love My father’s laws, My Father’s laws will love them into tomorrow. My Father’s high and noble laws are able to bring My people to the promised land of good. Love delivers unto love.Love is truth. And love is heaven. By your love of law, bring now heaven to earth. Thus saith your lord of Love, Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

A SECOND REBUKE to the Church in Bungoma, Kenya
RE:“The culture of everything for free should be discouraged,” says Judge Raphael.
Thus saith the LORD, Children of Bungoma, You love Me, but you love Me not.You see Me, but you see Me not.You follow Me, but you follow Me not. You ask, How do you not love, see and follow Me, your Lord? I tell you, You do not obey Me.Neither do you worship Me in Spirit and truth.Sometimes, You do not even know Me.Be chastised and rebuked, oh infant church of Bungoma. And grow up.Grow up.Grow up, for I love you. And for too long you have stayed as infants of the faith, infants of the deed and infants of the way.Learn My Father’s way.Earn your way.And I tell you, buy the precious things of the kingdom. Again, I say unto you, not everything you need of My Father’s kingdom is free. And yet you want everything for free.Everything, you say, must come for free. You insist that even Bibles must come to you for free.Yes, it is a blessing to give and receive bibles. But is there no end to receiving things for free?Indeed, there is an end to receiving for free and it is when childhood meets maturity. You want to be mature in Me, Christ, but you also want to be a babe in Christ who is given all things free.Which is it?Are you a babe in Me or are you mature in Me?You cannot be both. See your confliction and repent.A good shepherd does not teach his sheep to lie down and expect comfort and gifts and warmth and ease. No!I tell you, A good shepherd helps his sheep to be strong and courageous and able to walk bravely from pasture to pasture. The weak, the shepherd carries. The sick, the shepherd heals. But the sheep of wiles, who are stubborn, who are lazy, who are deceived and are deceiving other sheep, the good shepherd will treat harshly and prod them on unto obedience. I tell you the love of the good shepherd for his wayward sheep will make him harshly prod those sheep who are wayward. This harsh love is My Father’s good love and it is a love you have not known. Know this greater love of the universe, which is reality, which is God, which is good. The world may seem to you to be harsh, and indeed it is harsh. This harshness demands maturity out of you. Therefore, be mature, which is to be perfect even as My father is perfect. For far too long of a time, My children, you have fought maturity. You have built up resentments against the rich, even as you covet the things of the rich. Where, in My Father’s Bible, does it say to do that?Where does it say you pay nothing for pearls of great price? I am asking you to pay spiritually for the things of the spirit even as you pay carnally for the things of the world. But you have been a confused people. With false prosperity teachings, you have been told that a small cash donation to a corrupt prosperity preacher will result in multiplied spiritual and carnal blessings. And in immaturity, you have been told to receive spiritual teachings for free without paying any spiritual character development costs. You have thought God will fix your present situation without your movement in God. I tell you that until you pay the price for spiritual growth, you will remain stuck in the problems of immaturity. You must learn to be God-bearers of the utmost high, worshipping God in spirit and truth, indwelt, enlightened and confident. Go now with God in you and conquer your inner devils.Get rid of pride, resentment, covetousness, the greed of no-cost getting, belief in victim-hood, faith in cash gifts from afar, and rigid coldness against people of other faith. Learn to love again.Look at the scriptures again and learn to love again. You have been breaking the scriptures with your selective love. You love some of My father’s precepts, but not the greater ones. You love and do some of My works, but not the greater ones. Seek My Father’s maturity and see that it is first bitter, then sweet. For far too long you have only sought the sweet, and your lives remain bitter. Come.Come now to Me.And receive My love.It is hard, this mature love of My Father, but it is good. Thus saith the LORD.

THE FIRST REBUKE to the Church in Bungoma, Western Kenya
RE:“The culture of everything for free should be discouraged,” says Judge Raphael.
RE:A child receives a free Bible; and adult buys them and gives them to children.
RE:Would you buy Bibles for 750 KS, and give them to your babes in Christ?
RE:Would you buy Bibles for 750 KS, and read them yourself? That is the CHEAPEST kind of Bible. Some cost up to 7,500 KS.A reference library would be 20,000 KS.
Thus saith the Lord, In Luke 7, the righteous Centurion of Rome said “I am not worthy for you to enter my house, but please heal my servant. He served Me and My father’s House first. Do you not begrudge the rich for being rich yet you want to be rich?Have I not made the rich, rich for a reason? But you do not trust nor do you honor Me as you decide to love your fellow man who is not rich but envy the man who is… I tell you, You are a conflicted people.I love you, but you are a conflicted people. You will receive great wisdom if it is free, but not all that you need from me and others is free.Count the cost.Pay your debts.Do not envy and despise and mock and extract from the rich.Repent of your wicked ways. Sometimes the rich are much wiser than you.Learn their wisdom.Love their wisdom.Love all things.Love the rich.Love your enemies.Love your situation.Love My Father’s high truths.Love Psalm 119.Memorize Psalm 119.Make Psalm 119 part of your very core being, as it is mine. See My Father’s hand and move with My Father’s hand. Break off the adhesions of traditions of men in Pentecostal, Charismatic, poor church of Bungoma. Anything is possible.Fear not.And do not fear tribulation. Anything is possible if you hear and obey my voice. Be strong and of a good courage. Believe beyond that you will be given cash from America. You have been shown My Father’s way.Now pursue it.Now pursue this way.Now love this way.And do not pursue money from America. If you pursue money for money’s sake, you will die. The way of My Father is not easy. Find your paths in the wilderness and know and experience and love that good is not sent-money from afar, but God within. The Lord Jesus Christ, who desires to manifest fully in each one of you who hears this message, has spoken.
Why In That Day Teachings Are Sent to Rural Churches of Bungoma, Kenya: In August of 2008 and February of 2009, Robert Winkler Burke of Reno Nevada visited God’s Grace Revival Ministry churches at the invitation of Pastor Benjamin Wamalwa Khaemba in Bungoma, a small town in the western region of Kenya, Africa. Each trip was a little over two weeks long, with ten or so days in country. The purpose of the trips were to teach In That Day Teachings.Almost all of the several hundred people Burke spoke to in Bungoma are poor and live off the power grid. They cook with wood fires. There is no electricity. There is no modern plumbing. But most men have cell phones and use them often.Burke spoke to twenty to thirty pastors at various times in seminars and to hundreds of their members on Sundays. All were black.Burke is white. Because most Bungoma people live off-grid, they seem to have an affinity for higher teachings in Christianity, an affinity modern people in modern lands with modern immersion in attention-robbing devices do not.Perhaps this explains why modern people seem indifferent to In That Day Teachings, while the poor Christians in Bungoma do not. At any rate, while a large financial panic seems to be sweeping America in early 2009, the poor people of Kenya live closer to the land, often grow their own food, and have few bills for mortgage, the power company, the utility company or the credit card company. Why the Christian leaders of rural churches in Bungoma love In That Day Teachings, and modern Christian leaders of modern America ignore In that Day Teachings may have no explanation. The only one Burke can cipher is that off-grid people have a more ancient mindset agreeable to higher teachings, while moderns lack the desire or brain space since the “wanna-be-Christ-minded” oft have minds occupied by digital immersion-diversion. 1)The first trip in August of 2008 taught mainly about Jesus Indwelling, how to honor it in others, and why the greed of prosperity doctrine and the fear of rapture doctrine inhibits God-bearing.The people rejoiced at this message. They also rejoiced in no small way in regards to gifts of money and clothing and toys for the children. 2)The second trip in February of 2009 reviewed the teachings of the first trip, added teachings about breathing for calmness and strength in indwelling; teachings about buffeting for calmness and strength in indwelling – especially in regards to God’s excruciating overcoming processes when experienced at extraordinarily deep levels; and teachings about Russian Martial Art (RMA) exercises and defenses against attacks (Burke is a certified “Instructor in Training” in RMA); and teachings on how this grace, or divine enablement, creates the living space for God in you and allows you to see unseen solutions and opportunities for victory, so long as fear, greed and other harmful emotions are absent during times of great stresses. Finally, strong rebukes and chastisements were delivered against the concept “everything for free” and sticking to immature gospel themes that prevent God-bearing.The people also rejoiced in these messages. They also had great extraction schemes for money, great desires for money, great need for money; but Burke’s personal finances allowed very little of such desires to be fulfilled. On the whole, the second visit kept emphasizing the need for maturity, and to disallow immaturity that is excused by legacies of poverties in spirit, soul and body. The people were asked to re-study lessons from August they didn’t pursue. 3)A third trip has been proposed, but not confirmed, for October of 2009.The theme of this trip might be how to more or less permanently abide in Christ and the challenges that situation creates over time.Of course, there would be much review of the First and Second visit teachings. 4)This pattern, achieved with no small amount of difficulty or monies spent, might be utilized for seminars in the USA and other parts of the modern world; so long as anybody might pay something to learn.(If interested, call Burke for details.) 5)This might be a pattern for future visits to rural church leadership at places throughout the world, places not yet consumed by brain-space take over through modern digital devices and connections.Soon solar power and other advanced devices will deliver the world’s digital distractions to the unreached poor. The time is short, perhaps, for brains still unbothered and un-occupied by the overwhelming modern message-flow; a message that might have been described as the devil’s flooding mouth.(Rev. 12:15,16) Now, the problem is that with off-grid life and the potentials for Christ-mindedness come the necessary dire straits, financial problems and strong extraction spirits toward visitors. Thus, In That Day Teachings needs funding sources to pay for operations.Burke has long thought that world-wide book sales would fund such.A simple examination of the common bookstore in city or airport is a lesson in money eagerly paid for vanity, escape and entertainment.Vapid books sell well, but would a deep teaching book sell? Burke is keenly interested in finding a paying source from publishing his fresh manna about God-bearing for like-minded Christians of the world.Any kind souls coming across this plea, who see pearls of great treasure in this In That Day Teaching body of work ,and who just might how to properly monetize and popularize Burke’s extraordinarily creative effort, contact him at the following: info@inthatdayteachings.com rwburke@sbcglobal.net 775-690-7293 cell Robert Winkler Burke 16155 Cedar Springs Way Reno, Nevada89511 USA Also, anybody wishing to contribute to Burke’s mission trips to Kenya, his friends in Bungoma, Kenya or his In That Day Teachings project in general, send contributions to Robert Burke.Your generosity, insight and generous spirit are greatly appreciated. Letters from Bungoma: 22 February, 2009 Hello Brother Robert, God connected us divinely in the year 2008, August.Your coming to Kenya has had great spiritual and physical significance in our lives, families, ministries and sphere of influence.I really thank God for this great encounter, it has brought real growth, increase in all aspects and a higher dimension of God’s move and power. We thank God for the clarity you have in listening to God’s voice and the boldness you exhibit in obeying it.These are times when men rarely listen to God’s promptings and prodding.Your life of simplicity, faith, self discipline, self control, selfless love and self denial are patterns that we really admire and want to be imprinted in the tablets of our hearts. The “In That Day Teachings” lessons about “I see Jesus in you” has left an in depth mark in us.We have been transformed radically to treasure Jesus Christ indwelling in us, glorying in His presence, power, love and fruitfulness in and through us. Our saints in Bungoma were taught to put credit and great value on the spiritual blessings which are incorruptible, indestructible and eternal and not on the material which are perishable and fleeting. The word of God has gained preeminence in our lives. Our lives are being dictated by His destinies, plans and purposes, checked by the authenticity and infallibility of God’s word.Prayer has become paramount; it is like oxygen to the lungs.Saints have learnt to spend quality time before dawn in prayer to God.Through you teachings we have discovered the power of persisting and travailing in prayer. Our church is operating in the power of the Holy Spirit.Fasting and offensive prayer has become an invaluable weapon of our warfare. We are soldiers of the cross. The cross goes before us. We now trust in the weapons of the Spirit to wage war against demonic onslaughts. We have learnt that the battles are fought and won on our knees. We conquer the act of “surrendering” to the will of God.The fruit of the Spirit shows in our lives by all we do. Numerically, we have witnessed radical growth since your coming from a membership of 50 saints to 200 saints. In Bungoma Kenya we had nine churches, which has risen to 15 churches.Through our rural ministry God has increased 27 churches in various parts of Uganda. In Ethiopia we have planted one church. In Sudan, where God has given me a heavy burden, we have two churches. We highly appreciate the music instruments you bought for our church in Bokoli, the galvanized roof sheeting, the monthly rent paid for the church and so forth. You have raised the living standards of our pastors through your prayers, teachings and the Christmas Gifts. All these supports have been of great significance and importance. Our leaders are really encouraged and highly inspired by your love and deep concern that you have towards them. Your coming to Kenya this year (February 2009) has uplifted me to greater dimensions.I boarded a flight to Nairobi. And later with you I spent a night in a luxury hotel and ate a gourmet meal. All of which are great privileges to me. We have witnessed significant spiritual growth and increase in your personal life, your prayer, love and the authority you command in proclaiming God’s word and breaking the break of life. We are proud to have you as our spiritual father and mentor. The “In That Day Teachings,” with their lessons about Christ in you, end times events, prophecies, thrones of deceptions, doctrines, warnings about false teachings, awareness of foundational lies, the excoriation of common prosperity teachings, breaking the curse of depending in the Western world for money and free things and valuing spiritual truths more than temporary blessings of carnal things. We have been taught, trained, equipped and built on the timeless high truths of God, and hope to receive Christ Jesus’ endless power and love. We have been really blessed by your bible teaching sessions. These are times when the disciples are supposed to be immersed fully and baptized into the precious truths and secrets of the kingdom of God.We hope to continue to be taught how to be fully grounded, revived and able to pursue God’s will and perfect purpose through indwelling. Because of your “In That Day Teachings,” we have been raised to a higher level of maturity into receiving God with His presence and power in our spiritual abodes. The physical exercises you showed us, namely the Russian Martial Art style, are good and perfect for our body fitness, flexibility and stamina. We enjoyed practicing methods to tackle and handle emergency attacks. We applaud you for the vision you have for us in Africa, to disciple the nations through the “In That Day Teachings.”We are eager to fulfill this vision vibrantly. Our church in Bungoma magnifies God for your willingness to invest in the transportation orphanage, establishing strong church membership, issuing certificates in the future for the “In That Day Teachings” and raising aggressive, prayerful and self-independent saints in God-bearing. Only God can know the exact sacrifice, commitment and denial that you have paid for us to attain to this level of growth. He alone can value it; hence He is your exceeding great reward.God will reward you handsomely.Shalom. Yours in Christ’s love, Pastor Benjamin Wamalwa Khaemba God’s Grace Revival Ministry (GGRM) Bungoma, Western Kenya February 22, 2009 Dear Brother Robert, I am brother Tom Mabunde, Chairman of God’s Grace Revival Ministries in Bungoma, Western Kenya.I seize this golden opportunity to register my highest praise and glory to God, then to you brother Robert. Since our first meeting in Eldoret in July of 2008, I have experienced a radical dimensional shift and transformation in my life, family and ministry.Your prayers, ministry, patience and love have been of great significance to me. I have grown spiritually.Your deep and profound teachings and messages have always left a lasting impact and positive, divine experience in my spiritual life.I have been nourished, delivered, matured and taught in God’s ways.I have received fresh manna from heaven.Your teachings have been timely, powerful and life changing.I have witnessed the church grow vibrantly and in revelation. We are imbibing in the deep of His spiritual reservoir and tap all the untapped and unrealized resources.God is enabling us to unleash our potential in Him. The work that you began is great and tremendous. It has an external impact. I am very grateful to the special gift (finances) that you blessed me with.I received it with meekness and real appreciation. My life was augmented and catapulted to higher levels of experience.May God bless you indeed. Your vision has really captured and captivated me and the whole church in particular. The “In That Day Teachings” are meat in due season for us.It is the message and anointing that we needed to take us to the next level of break through and spiritual authority and influence. The grace of raising radical, vibrant and militant preachers of the gospel is to take and colonize the whole world with these heavenly and powerful teachings to disciple nations for Christ. We surely desire to get quality and contemporary instructions which will enable us to promulgate these truths of indwelt Lordship in spirit and in truth. Thanks for your continual support and willingness to upgrade God’s work in Kenya. The seminars, trainings and teachings are invaluable to Christ’s body and us. I hereby grasp this time to appreciate God for your promise to stand with me and support me during my wedding in August. Thanks in advance, be blessed. I believe deeply that this is the beginning of beginnings, the Genesis of God’s great acts; mighty and loud exploits with display of his power. It is the Book of Acts in action, moving radically and violently as we embrace His universal dimension for the globe and urge ourselves onward under the victory of His Spirit. Be blessed and in-filled mightily.Amen. Thomas Mabunde Bungoma, Western Kenya 25 February 2009 Dear brother Robert, thank you for your second trip, we have surely blessed by your Teachings and Russian Martial art, and you live a thousand miles from us, but thank you for visiting us always. We too are not internet friends but brothers in Christ through Pastor Benjamin. We have no many mutual friends but through pastor Benjamin Khaemba, we have met you face to face and become brothers in Christ, please my prayer request is that God is seeking a person who can sacrifice for God's people like you. But know what our God sent you to do in Kenya Bungoma not physical business but spiritual business, to not be confused with anybody, let us do anything for the glory of God, everything in the world will pass away but the living word of God will not pass away, Jesus came to save poor, needy and sick people not rich and well people. The African culture is that when one person become friends of somebody and later on through that person his friend come and other friends, that friend should not change and believe other friends than the first person that is mistake. So brother Robert, it is just a word of advice that In That Day Teachings in Kenya we just know pastor Benjamin wamalwa khaemba, to not believe anybody, pastor Benjamin is humble pastor, gentleman, he is a man for leadership, he cares orphans and widows and pastors, so you have a good friend than others. Be very aware with tax men and women in Kenya, Nairobi, Eldoret and even in Bungoma, most of them are robbers, they have seducing language they are not saved, many of them believe in rapture, second coming of Christ. And they believe to kill is not a sin, so be aware, don't accept to be in touch with them in business partnership, you will fund the business after that you will never see them again, you will have to cry. But as you have started Serenity project in Bungoma, please advice those who are after business to join In That Day Teachings ministry and we shall give them one project like tax services, this will not cause you to doubt people of Bungoma Kenya, okay? If there is any way you can assist pastor Benjamin, please kindly assist, because pastor Benjamin he always cares pastors especially my family, orphans and widows.Thank you for accepting our proposals, even my orphanage will be openly cared in that Serenity project, because we want everything for us to work as one team. Don’t allow anything to be done outside In That Day Teachings ministry, please advice those who are after business to humble under In That Day Teachings ministry, because Catholics, Friends Quaker and others believe in rapture and are not saved, most of them are after money-money, to be very sincere sent them spiritual materials not money you will see how they behave. Pastor Benjamin always print your Teachings, poems and others and share translate to Kiswahili he makes sure everybody receives your Teachings and poems. Let all people in Bungoma come together and agree to become mature saints, show pastor Benjamin where he can stand and move the earth, pray for his family, transportation and churches, finally be in order, to not accept communications from anybody, I got this your email through the teachings that you always sent to pastor Benjamin, so beware of wolfs in sheep’s clothing, you will know them through their deeds, I have more to tell you but let the holy spirit open your eyes and ears to his understanding. Bless you. Pastor Richard Barasa Waswa (Leader of an Orphanage with 15 children and 3 Widows) Under the leadership of Pastor Benjamin Wamalwa Khaemba
